Your Donation to the 2024 Annual Fund enables our provision of generous studios, production support, educational programs and critical dialogue among the artists and writers we host, local audiences, creative professionals and students.

We have granted residencies to 160 artists and writers from across the United States and 17 countries, to produce in unique context to Corsicana. Their sterling caliber of studio work has yielded over fifty exhibitions and thirty books reaching audiences far beyond Texas and the English language, marking this residency as a significant contributor to a worldwide cultural arena. The ripples of this mission are expanding through North Texas as well: This year we launched new educational workshops at the University of Texas at Arlington and Southern Methodist University. The recent DUST installation -- a found, accidental time capsule of 2,626 forgotten photographs from 1948 – 1966 depicting daily life in Corsicana, welcomed nearly 3,000 visitors with critical acclaim.  Organized from residency work by Michael Thomas, it is just one local example of this year's growing field of exhibitions, video installations, publications and compositions mounted directly from residents’ studio work to museums and venues in hubs like Reykjavík, Dallas and Berlin.

The power of this cultural environment bridging international artists and writers to this small town and North Texas is realized only with your donation.
